PICASSO AND MARIE-THERESE: L'AMOUR FOU

No pics, no nothing, but the PICASSO AND MARIE-THERESE show at Gagosian Gallery on 21st street is a gallery exhibit that puts most museum Picasso shows to shame. AN ABSOLUTE MUST-SEE for anyone even remotely interested in art. Read the Vanity Fair article before going and it will be even better. WORD.

JOHN WATERS AT PAULA COOPER GALLERY

John Waters celebrated the paperback release of his book ROLE MODELS with a reading/Q&A/signing at the Paula Cooper Gallery in Chelsea on Wednesday night, and as with basically every JW event held in NYC, I was there. It was standing room only by the time I was allowed in (every free event in NYC is a shit-show), but it was worth it to hear JW read and talk with the fans and then sign books. A few shoddy pics from the back of the gallery...whatever.

JAMES FREY-THE FINAL TESTAMENT....

Picked up the new James Frey book THE FINAL TESTAMENT OF THE HOLY BIBLE put out by Gagosian. Beautiful packaging, with slip case, silver guilded edges, "leather" bible cover... but I'm not sure what to make of this book yet...it's on-deck in my reading pile.
