PARIS

Besides the man dying on our flight over(no joke-a bigger bummer than you might imagine) and the cold drizzle, we NEVER take our time here for granted. Gettin busy this week for sure in the city of light.

DESPERATE AT 25

My wife took me to the 25th anniversary screening of DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN last night at Film Society of Lincoln Center. Cast members, crew, extras and minor players were everywhere. Alot of fun, and the movie held up (kinda). A few crap pics of Roseanna and Aidan and crew, as well as an old pic of me showing support for Madonna in the subways of the 80s. She didn't show for the screening though.

ALIEN

Great screening of ALIEN Sunday night at Lincoln Center Film Society, with guest speaker Tom Skerritt... who broke-down some behind the scenes action of the film, including meeting H.R. Giger and filming the chest-burst scene. Chilled out dude who also had to deal with being cornered by us movie nerds after the screening. First time I've seen the directors cut of this classic, but I did see the original(1979) in the theater when it was released. Still amazing.

VERTIGO

stumbled upon this at the Modern....hmmmmmm...weird.
